24 September 1941

[must be the last page of a letter]  Have seen Farley; he is running around in his uniform.  Tomorrow we will [be] given interviews to determine our placement.  A little good news is that Farley almost [was] given the job as Chief Clerk but because of lack of actual business experience, he was turned down.   I’m going to attempt to get the job.  It pays $126.00 a month.  I don’t know the details but I’m doing a little wishful thinking.

I guess this is everything that’s gone on.  I’ll try to keep you posted.  My address is Co. D, R.C., Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.  Think of you often.

Lots of love,

Harold Moss Signature
