Got into Vancouver, Washington across the Columbia River, tonite.  Still going north tomorrow.  Passed this place today—beautiful country.  Pretty chilly-

Description

One postcard sent to his parents in Minatare, Nebraska. Front: Timberline Lodge in winter, Mt. Hood, Oregon, altitude 11,225 ft. Back:  New Timberline Lodge, Mt. Hood.  This new $300,000 lodge is located on the south slope of Mt. Hood at Timberline, approximately 6,000 feet above sea level.  In a setting of unusual beauty, it will afford delightful accommodations to the lovers of the great outdoors, and it is of particular interest to the enthusiasts of winter sports.
