Journey through the Pacific

As a young man from the midwest, Harold Moss never imagined how World War II would change his life forever. From his training in California, Washington and Hawaii, Harold learned the skills he would need to survive the terrors of war. Crossing the Pacific Ocean, he writes about his first hand experience in the battles of Saipan, Tinian and Leyte Philippines. Before the war ends, he’s entrenched on the island of Okinawa at the footstep of the enemy’s homeland. The map below outlines his unique journey.
